About the Housekeeping Supervisor/ Coordinator Role

  • Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels of cleaning supplies and amenities.
  • Provide ongoing training and performance feedback to team members.
  • Maintain records, prepare reports, and communicate updates to management.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Support daily operational needs and resolve housekeeping-related issues.
  • Allocations, coordinator, understanding productivity.
  • Manage and coordinate room allocations and daily housekeeping schedules
  • Handle guest requests, preferences, and special requirements efficiently
  • Prepare and distribute daily allocation sheets and reports
  • Monitor room status, including departures, arrivals, and priority cleaning
  • Act as the key communication link between room attendants and supervisors
  • Maintain accurate records, including room status updates, DND reports, and service logs
  • Ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of housekeeping tasks

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience as a housekeeping supervisor performing allocations and using hotel systems like Opera & HubOS
  • Availability to work flexible, rotating rosters including weekends and evening shifts
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Ability to handle guest requests professionally and efficiently
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures, products, and safety standards
  • Valid working rights in Australia
