Role Overview
This role is responsible for leading the performance and development of Mobile Lending Managers as they progress through the Rate Money Franchise Pathway Program (FPP).
The focus is on driving strong sales performance, building consistent capability, and coaching individuals to become franchise-ready operators.
This role sits at the intersection of sales leadership and hands-on coaching,
working closely with Learning & Development to lift capability and drive
consistent performance outcomes aligned to business standards.
Sales Leadership:
- Lead and manage the performance of Mobile Lending Managers within the Rate Money Franchise Pathway Program (FPP), driving consistent growth in activity, conversion, and settlements.
- Build a high-performance sales culture grounded in accountability, professionalism, and strong commercial judgement.
- Set, monitor, and drive performance against clear KPIs, including, Activity levels (appointments, submissions), conversion rates and settlement outcomes
- Establish structured performance rhythms, including, weekly pipeline reviews, individual performance check-ins and conversion and activity tracking
- Deliver hands-on coaching and development, focused on, improving sales capability and conversion, strengthening pipeline management discipline and uplifting deal structuring and overall file quality
- Proactively identify performance gaps and implement targeted coaching plans to lift capability and address underperformance early.
- Drive progression of Mobile Lending Managers through the Franchise Pathway Program, ensuring individuals are building the capability, consistency, and performance required to transition into successful franchise operators.
- Work in close alignment with Learning & Development and Credit/Compliance to reinforce training, embed best practices, and ensure performance standards align with business expectations.
- Maintain a strong focus on quality and consistency, ensuring all files meet lender and compliance standards while supporting strong commercial outcomes
What you bring
- Proven experience in mortgage lending, business development and network growth.
- Strong sales leadership experience, within mortgages, lending or financial services.
- Experience managing and/or coaching high performing sales teams.
- Hands on approach, comfortable being in market, building relationships and generating leads.
- Commercial judgement and the ability to assess business capability.
