YFS is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Data Administrator to support the Logan Zero Project—an initiative aimed at ending homelessness in Logan City. In this role, you’ll manage and maintain accurate client data related to housing and homelessness. Your work will directly contribute to matching housing solutions with individual needs, tracking homelessness dynamics, and informing system improvements.

Pay range: $48.31 casual rate per hour
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact initiative focused on ending homelessness in Logan City. As part of the Logan Zero team, you’ll work behind the scenes to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and actionable—supporting frontline services and strategic decision-making. You’ll collaborate with partner agencies, uphold data integrity, and help drive continuous improvement through evidence-based insights.
In this role you will:
- Accurately enter and manage data in the Advance to Zero database and YFS client systems.
- Collaborate with Logan agencies to ensure high-quality data entry and updates.
- Identify and correct data errors, maintain confidentiality, and support administrative functions.
- Build effective relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Help track homelessness dynamics and contribute to system improvements through data insights.
- Contribute to data quality and demonstrate commitment to solving homelessness.
- Uphold YFS values, policies, and safeguarding principles.
About you
Aside from meeting the key capabilities outlined in the related role description available from the link below, ideally, you’ll bring:
- Your confidence using business systems like SRS, SharePoint, Excel, ProSpend and CMS.
- Knowledge of the community services sector and a strong commitment to ending homelessness.
- Your enjoyment of working collaboratively and building relationships across teams and agencies.
- Your organised, detail-oriented abilities, and you thrive in a dynamic environment where meeting deadlines and communicating effectively are key.
