We are seeking a talented communications professional to join our Corporate Relations team as Executive, Corporate Communications.

This is a hands-on role for a confident writer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across a diverse range of corporate communications activities. You’ll support the delivery of strategic corporate, industry and government communications that showcase Victoria’s world-class tourism and major events offerings, while strengthening engagement with key stakeholders.

Working closely with leaders, government stakeholders, industry partners and media, you’ll develop high-quality communications materials including media releases, briefing notes, speeches, Q&As, newsletters and internal communications.

Success in the role requires excellent writing skills, judgement and strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail. You’ll be calm under pressure and adaptable in a dynamic environment.

About you

You’re a strong communicator with exceptional writing skills and a proven ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling content for different audiences.

You have experience working in communications, media or PR and enjoy balancing multiple deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.

You will bring:

• Minimum three years’ experience in a communications, media, PR or corporate affairs role where writing is a core component of the position

• Outstanding written communication skills, with experience preparing media releases, briefing materials, speeches or similar content

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and changing deadlines

• A calm, resilient and solutions-focused approach in a fast-paced environment

• A tertiary qualification in a related discipline
