Description

What if your next L&D role wasn’t just about delivering learning—but transforming how learning happens?
About Trilogy Care

We’re one of Australia’s fastest growing home care providers, empowering older Australians to live independently in the home they love for longer. We’re investing heavily in AI and technology across every part of the business, and our People & Culture team is no exception. We’re looking for someone who can make our learning systems work harder, smarter, and faster, and who’s equally comfortable presenting in front of a room as they are configuring a system.

About the Role

This isn’t a traditional L&D role, but it’s not a pure tech role either. You’ll spend a significant portion of your time building the technology infrastructure that powers learning at scale: automating workflows, deploying AI tools, managing systems, and creating the platforms that let the team deliver great learning without manual admin eating their week. But you’ll also step into the room, facilitating sessions, presenting to leaders, running onboarding groups, and delivering programs face-to-face when the moment calls for a real person, not a platform.

You’ll own:

  • The Learning Management System, end-to-end: architecture, configuration, integrations, enrolment automation, reporting, and troubleshooting. Not just uploading content — owning the platform as a product
  • AI-enabled content pipelines, deploying tools like Claude, NotebookLM, Synthesia, and generative design to take content creation from weeks to hours, then facilitating and presenting the programs to learners in person or virtually
  • Facilitation and delivery, running face-to-face and virtual sessions for onboarding cohorts, compliance workshops, system training, and capability programs when the content needs a human in the room
  • Automated workflows, trigger-based enrolments, compliance reminders, escalation paths, completion certificates, manager notifications, and onboarding sequences that run themselves
  • Learner support tools, AI-powered chatbots, smart knowledge bases, and self-service search so employees get answers without logging a ticket
  • Reporting infrastructure, automated dashboards, scheduled reports, and real-time compliance views that leaders can access without asking you to pull data
  • System integrations, connecting the LMS to HRIS, onboarding platforms, and compliance registers so data flows automatically and records stay current

What Makes This Different

Most L&D roles treat technology as a support tool. In this role, it’s at the core. You’ll own the learning systems, automation, and AI that power capability at scale, while confidently facilitating programs that make an impact. If you’re the person who fixes the LMS, streamlines processes, and enjoys bringing learning to life, you’ll thrive here. We already embrace AI across the business, you’ll be expected to use it, optimise it, and demonstrate its value.

About You

  •  Blending tech with facilitation, you can build an automated learning pathway in the morning and facilitate an engaging onboarding session in the afternoon. You’re comfortable presenting to groups of all sizes, running workshops, and bringing energy to a room
  • Learning technology expertise, deep working knowledge of LMS platforms (configuration, integrations, reporting, user management), not just end-user familiarity
  • AI-enabled delivery, proven experience using generative AI, chatbots, or AI content tools to improve L&D processes. Not awareness, demonstrated practice
  • Facilitation and presentation skills, confident standing in front of a room (or a camera), applying adult learning principles, and adapting delivery to the audience. You don’t just build content, you can land it
  • Automation and workflow design, you can build automated workflows using no-code/low-code tools, platform-native automation, or integration platforms (Power Automate, Zapier, Make, or similar)
  • Data and analytics, can build dashboards, interpret learning data, and translate metrics into actionable insight
  • L&D foundations, solid grounding in instructional design and adult learning principles (technology should enhance learning, not undermine it)
  • Systems thinking, comfortable working across multiple platforms, troubleshooting issues, and finding solutions without always escalating to IT
  • Documentation, can create clear user guides, process maps, and technical documentation that enables others to use systems independently

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with Employment Hero, Go1, or similar mid-market HRIS/LMS platforms
  • Experience with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360, iSpring, Canva for Teams)
  • Exposure to API integrations, data pipelines, or BI tools (Power BI, Looker, Databricks)
  • Experience building AI chatbots or automated knowledge bases for internal use
  • Experience facilitating leadership development workshops or structured development programs

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in L&D, Information Systems, Education Technology, OD, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • 4–6 years in L&D, learning technology, or a systems/technology role within a people function
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116/TAE40122) or willingness to obtain
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with LMS administration and at least one AI content creation too
  • National Police Check and Australian work rights required

What We Offer

  • A role that’s focused on systems, automation, and AI — with regular opportunities to facilitate, present, and deliver learning face-to-face and virtually
  • An organisation already committed to AI (not still debating whether to try it)
  • A growing business (450+ employees) where the systems you build are used by real people every day — and where you’ll see learners engage with your work in person
  • Modern tech stack and genuine willingness to invest in tools that work
  • Brisbane CBD-fringe location (Bowen Hills), with flexibility built into how we work
  • Career growth in a function that’s being deliberately built to scale

To Apply

Submit your CV outlining your experience with learning technology, automation, and AI tools — and your facilitation or presentation experience. We’d love to hear a specific example of a system or workflow you built that saved time or improved outcomes, as well as a program you’ve delivered that landed well.
