Description

Do you enjoy designing great learning experiences just as much as finding smarter, faster ways to deliver them?

We’re one of Australia’s fastest growing home care providers, empowering older Australians to live independently in the home they love for longer. Our People & Culture team is investing in how we develop, onboard, and grow our workforce, and we’re looking for someone who can deliver great learning programs while embracing modern tools to do it smarter and faster.

About the Role

This is a hands-on L&D role with a twist: we expect you to use AI and technology as everyday tools, not just nice-to-haves. You’ll design programs, facilitate sessions, run onboarding, manage the LMS, and report on impact – the full L&D lifecycle. But you’ll do it with AI-assisted content creation, automated workflows, and data-driven reporting built into your standard way of working. Half creating and delivering, half using systems and technology to do it better.

Day to day, you’ll:

  • Design and deliver learning programs, leadership development, compliance, technical skills, professional development, and onboarding
  • Facilitate sessions, face-to-face, virtual, and blended, applying adult learning principles
  • Use AI tools (Claude, NotebookLM, generative design) to draft content, build assessments, generate learner resources, and produce materials at pace
  • Own and manage the LMS, publishing, enrolments, automated pathways, completions tracking, and troubleshooting
  • Build automated workflows, onboarding triggers, compliance reminders, reporting dashboards, so manual admin doesn’t eat your week
  • Report on what’s working, training completions, evaluation results, capability trends, compliance status, and the impact of programs on actual performance
  • Run the onboarding program, scheduling, facilitation, content updates, feedback loops, and continuous improvement based on 90-day retention data
  • Manage external training vendors, sourcing, coordinating, and evaluating for alignment and value

What Makes This Different

We’re looking for an L&D professional who combines exceptional facilitation skills with a passion for technology and AI. You’ll use AI as a co-creator to design learning faster, automate repetitive tasks, and focus on delivering high impact learning experiences. If you’ve been exploring AI tools and want to work somewhere they are embraced as part of everyday practice, not just a nice to have, this is the role for you.

About You

You’re an experienced L&D professional who enjoys designing engaging learning experiences and using technology to work smarter. You bring:

  • Proven experience designing and facilitating learning programs across a range of formats
  • Strong content creation skills, including facilitator guides, eLearning and learning resources
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to create content and improve workflows
  • Experience administering an LMS, including reporting and automation
  • Confidence interpreting learning data and presenting insights
  • Excellent stakeholder management and organisational skills

Desirable:

  • Experience with Employment Hero, Go1 or similar HRIS/LMS platforms
  • Experience with Articulate 360, iSpring or Canva

Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in HR, L&D, Education, Psychology or a related discipline
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116/TAE40122) or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience in Learning & Development or Organisational Development
  • Australian work rights and a National Police Check

What We Offer

  • A role where using AI at work isn’t fringe — it’s expected and supported
  • A growing organisation (450+ employees) where your programs reach real people and you can see the impact
  • Modern tech stack and willingness to invest in tools that make your job easier
  • Brisbane CBD-fringe location (Bowen Hills), with reasonable flexibility built into how we work
  • Genuine career development in a team that’s being built to scale

To Apply

Submit your CV outlining your L&D experience and how you currently use AI or technology tools in your work. Bonus points if you can share an example of something you built or improved using AI.
