Ready to be at the centre of a high-performing sales engine? We’re looking for a proactive and highly organised Sales Coordinator to help drive momentum, keep opportunities on track, and support our team to win in a fast-growing consulting business.

In this role, you’ll be a vital link across the business—managing pipeline and gating processes, supporting deal progression, coordinating compelling client proposals, and helping lift sales performance. You’ll work closely with Business Development, Account Managers, Marketing, Proposals and Delivery teams to ensure every opportunity moves forward with clarity, speed and confidence.

Location

The role is hybrid with location based in Melbourne; however regular interstate travel may be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for contributing to the collective sales targets, win-loss ratio, and gating KPIs.
  • Drive Pipeline conversion ratio improvements including number of qualified opportunities generated, and average sales cycle length.
  • Manage and implement CRM discipline, pipeline governance and compliance, and forecasting processes, including management of all dashboards and reports.
  • Contribute to weekly pipeline and gating meetings.
  • Contribute to improvement across conversion rates, sales cycle time, and average deal value.
  • Support commercial negotiations with clients to secure contracts and proposals.
  • Support the Head of BD and Sales with client engagement, event attendance and social media support.
  • Monitor group mailbox and panels
  • Manage team Sharepoint site.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Proficient with CRM systems and sales governance
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to pro-actively manage gating requirements across the sales cycle
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills

 

Desirable:

  • 3-5 years demonstrated experience in sales pipeline management in B2B Consulting
  • Understanding of project-based consulting or similar professional services environments
  • Commercially astute and results-oriented
  • Data-driven decision maker with hands-on execution capability
  • Highly accountable and self-directed
  • Experience working with the MS Office suite of programs
