Symons Clark Logistics is a proud 150-year-old transport and logistics business based in Port Adelaide. As we continue our journey of growth and transformation, we’re investing in our people, systems, and capability to support the next chapter of our business.

We are seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator to join our General Transport Operations Team.

This role is based in Port Adelaide and operates on a 7:7 roster (7 days on / 7 days off) – (5:00pm to 5:00am).

What you will be doing…

  • Coordinate day-to-day transport operations, ensuring deliveries are dispatched on time and any issues are resolved promptly.
  • Liaise with drivers, warehouse teams, customers and internal stakeholders to support efficient transport activities.
  • Maintain accurate transport records and update transport management systems, including delivery, fleet and driver information.
  • Prepare and process transport documentation, including delivery manifests, reports, timesheets, purchase orders and compliance paperwork.
  • Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety requirements and company policies while providing general administrative support.

Do you have…

  • High attention to detail with strong administrative and data entry accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making and analytical skills.
  • Professional approach with excellent customer service and communication skills.

Additional Information…

  • Successful applicants will be required to provide a Fit to Drive Medical, undertake a Drug and Alcohol Screening and Police Check.
  • Successful applicants should have a sound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and on road legal compliance and a willingness to work with GPS technology.
  • There may be a requirement to be clean shaven depending on the role.
