ABOUT THE ROLE

We are on the lookout for a highly motivated, proactive, and customer-focused individual to join us as our Team Leader in Industrial.

Based at our Jandakot WA site, you will be leading on-site Receiving and Collections operations for industrial assets, ensuring accurate processing, safe handling, and a consistently customer-focused experience. This role oversees a team of yard hands, managing the end-to-end flow of assets from receipt through collection. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the Team Leader Industrial drives operational efficiency, meets performance targets, and upholds Slattery Grays commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. You’ll be right there in the yard, making things happen every day!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and coordinate Receiving and Collections teams to ensure the safe, accurate, and customer-focused handling of industrial assets.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including cataloguing, task prioritisation, and meeting service standards and deadlines.
  • Act as the primary on-site contact for customers and stakeholders, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying workflow inefficiencies and enhancing operational processes.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to support smooth site operations.
  • Monitor performance against KPIs and use insights to improve outcomes and team accountability.
  • Coach, develop, and support Industrial Operators and Auction Coordinators to build a high-performing team.
  • Champion workplace safety, information security, and a positive, values-driven culture.

ABOUT YOU

  • Current drivers licence
  • HC and/or forklift licence desired but not essential
  • Previous warehouse experience (preferred), ideally within an industrial or operational environment
  • Strong passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • Proven ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, results-driven workplace
  • Commitment to safe, efficient work practices and WHS compliance
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a collaborative approach
  • Ability to manage workloads, meet efficiency targets, and exceed daily KPIs
  • Confident problem-solver with strong dispute resolution skills
  • Positive, resilient attitude when handling challenges and change
  • Experience leading teams and delivering high-quality customer interactions
