About the Role
This role is based in Melbourne at our branch in Sunshine West. As a commercially minded State Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and developing our teams across Melbourne, and the state of Victoria.
- Developing and executing strategic plans that grow sales, profitability and productivity year on year.
- Strengthening existing customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Overseeing financial performance, including P&L, margins, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Managing inventory levels and warehouse operations to ensure efficiency.
- Fostering a high-performance culture, developing and mentoring branch teams.
- Ensuring compliance with OHS and industry regulations.
Key Criteria
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role, ideally in an industrial B2B environment.
- A strong track record in growing profitability and productivity across multiple states
- Experience in developing high-performing sales teams and customer networks
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage P&L and budgetary targets.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to prioritise, multi-task, and make strategic decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
