Join the PAMS Team

Puntukurnu Aboriginal Medical Service (PAMS) is seeking a Utilities Officer to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our clinic, accommodation, and operational premises in Newman.

Key Responsibilities

Daily cleaning of clinic, accommodation, and other PAMS facilities.
Maintain clinical and non-clinical areas to infection control and accreditation standards.
Prepare and clean accommodation for visiting services, including linen management.
Respond to additional cleaning requests as required.
Undertake other duties as directed by the line manager.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices, including the safe use of cleaning products.
Understanding of cleanliness standards within a healthcare environment.
Ability to operate cleaning equipment and maintain cleaning supplies.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
An understanding of and ability to work effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities.

What We Offer

Salary: $50,400 – $58,400 p.a. (excluding super)
