Are you an experience financial Journalist looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience in the superannuation and financial advisory space? Are you looking to compliment or expand your skillset in the digital arena? If you are, then this could be the perfect role for you!

We are looking for a Senior Journalist (3+ years’ experience) in the wealth management and investment space to join our Melbourne or Sydney teams.

About your new role:

  • Source, write and edit well-crafted, high-quality news and feature content for articles, newsletters and website content.
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of all editorial published.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with a range of key clients to facilitate their engagement with the publication, producing content that is high quality and meets deadlines.
  • Maintain and manage brand web sites, newsletters, social media, and any other digital assets as required.
  • Host podcasts, roundtables, and live events.
  • Facilitate cross-department communication between sales and editorial.
  • Represent the brand and engage with the industry at trade shows, roundtables, and other events.
  • Develop a pipeline of content to ensure consistent and sustainable output.

About you:

  • A passion for writing and editing.
  • 3+ years experience in the wealth management and superannuation space.
  • Experience in reporting on the wealth management sector/finance.
  • On-screen experience in web video, live webinars, or broadcast, will be highly regarded.
  • Proven capability in successfully drafting a large volume of high-quality news and feature content.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.

  • Bachelor of Journalism or Media and Communications will be highly regarded.
