The Role

Reporting to the Senior Risk Manager, the Risk Analyst plays a key role in supporting and strengthening risk management practices across the business.

You will partner with stakeholders to enhance risk frameworks, uplift controls, and deliver meaningful insights through reporting and analytics. This is a hands-on role offering exposure across the full risk lifecycle, including policy management, assurance, incident management, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance risk frameworks including Risk Management Framework, Risk Registers, Risk Appetite Statement, and KRIs
  • Partner with the business to identify, assess and manage risks and controls
  • Deliver risk reporting and insights for Boards and Committees
  • Conduct second line control testing and assurance activities
  • Support incident and issue management, including remediation and root cause analysis
  • Assist with business continuity planning and testing
  • Support audit activities and tracking of findings through to resolution
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of GRC systems and risk processes

About You

  • 3+ years’ experience in risk management (Line 1 or Line 2)
  • Experience in financial services (platforms, investments or insurance preferred)
  • Strong understanding of risk frameworks, controls and assurance
  • Experience with GRC systems (e.g. RediNow)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Proactive, collaborative and improvement-focused approach

Exposure to CPS 230 or AFSL environments is highly regarded.
