About the Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our Development Team.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll contribute across the full software development lifecycle while helping drive technical excellence within the team. You’ll play a key role in designing, developing and enhancing scalable solutions, while mentoring others and contributing to the continuous improvement of our systems, processes and development practices.
Your responsibilities will include:
– Designing, developing, testing and deploying high-quality software solutions across the full software development lifecycle.
– Maintaining and enhancing existing applications to improve performance, security and user experience.
– Collaborating with Product Owners, Business Analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
– Contributing to solution design, architecture discussions and development standards.
– Conducting code reviews and promoting best practices to ensure quality, maintainability and scalability.
– Mentoring and supporting developers through knowledge sharing, coaching and technical guidance.
– Supporting deployment activities and contributing to CI/CD and automation initiatives.
– Troubleshooting complex technical issues and delivering sustainable solutions.
– Participating in Agile ceremonies and contributing to successful sprint planning and delivery.
– Championing secure software development practices and continuous improvement across the development team.
About You
You’re a passionate and experienced software developer who enjoys solving complex challenges, collaborating with others and delivering high-quality solutions. You’re equally comfortable writing code, engaging with stakeholders and supporting the growth of your teammates.
Skills, experience, and qualifications
– 7+ years’ experience in software development delivering enterprise-grade applications.
– Strong expertise in C#, .NET Framework 4.8+ and .NET 8+.
– Extensive experience developing applications using ASP.NET MVC and Web API.
– Strong understanding of APIs and modern application architecture.
– Experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
– Advanced SQL Server and T-SQL development experience.
– Experience working within Agile Scrum teams and modern software delivery practices.
– Strong understanding of software quality, security, testing and development best practices.
– Experience with source control, code reviews and CI/CD pipelines.
– Exposure to cloud technologies such as Azure and modern DevOps practices will be highly regarded.
– Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
