We’re looking for an experienced Work Health & Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to help lead that commitment.
This is a full time role based at our Burswood office, with regular travel required across sites. This is on a fixed term basis from July 2026 until August 2027, covering parental leave.

You’ll work closely with teams across the organisation, building strong relationships and helping embed a proactive, people-first approach to safety and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
• Chair the WHS Committee and drive continuous improvement in safety practices.
• Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and manage corrective actions.
• Lead the investigation and reporting of incidents and hazards, ensuring compliance with legislative and organisational standards.
• Develop and review emergency preparedness plans and facilitate drills.
• Deliver training to staff and leaders on safe work practices, risk mitigation, and wellbeing.
• Manage injury management and workers compensation claims, including return-to-work planning.
• Provide expert advice and lead complex employee relations matters, including investigations and grievance management.
• Design and implement employee wellbeing programs and support psychosocial hazard prevention.
What You’ll Bring
• Demonstrated experience in workplace health and safety, risk, or wellbeing roles, preferably in human services or not-for-profit environments.
• Sound understanding of WHS legislation, psychosocial hazard management, and employee relations practices.
• Strong communication and coaching skills with the ability to influence and support stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience conducting investigations, writing reports, and developing clear safety and wellbeing strategies.
• A collaborative, values-driven approach that aligns with trauma-informed and culturally respectful practice.

- SCHADS Schedule B Pay Point and Level – Level 5.1-5.3 – $51.00 – $53.31 per hour
- EAP Service with Wellness resources.
- Salary Packaging of up to $15,900.
