That’s why we’re looking for an experienced People & Culture Partner to work alongside our Northern Services and Parkerville Grove School, helping leaders confidently navigate the people side of their role.

This isn’t a desk-bound HR position. It’s a hands-on partnering role where you’ll build trusted relationships, provide practical advice, and help leaders create positive, high-performing teams. You’ll be visible, approachable and solutions-focused – supporting managers through everyday people matters while embedding best practice across the employee lifecycle.

What you’ll be doing

As a trusted advisor, you’ll work closely with leaders to:

  • Coach and support managers through employee relations and people matters
  • Partner on recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning
  • Build leadership capability through practical advice and guidance
  • Support performance, development and wellbeing conversations
  • Help resolve workplace issues early and constructively
  • Ensure People & Culture practices are applied consistently across services
  • Champion a positive employee experience from hire to retire

What you’ll bring

You’ll be someone who enjoys partnering with leaders and finding practical solutions. You understand that strong relationships, sound judgement and great communication are at the heart of successful People & Culture.

You’ll also bring:

  • Experience in a People & Culture, HR Business Partner or HR Advisor role
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations and contemporary HR practices
  • The confidence to coach leaders through complex people matters
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • A collaborative, approachable and solutions-focused mindset
  • The ability to balance operational support with continuous improvement
  • Experience working with unions will be highly regarded.

This position is offered on a permanent basis, full-time basis at our Midland office, with travel between sites required.

What we offer:

  • SCHADS Schedule B Level and Pay Point – 5.1 $51.00 – 5.3 $53.3 p/h
  • A professional and supportive work environment
  • EAP Service with Wellness resources
  • Salary Packaging of up to $15,900
