About the role
This is a rare opportunity to join Oroton as a Supply Chain Coordinator, sitting at the centre of the team’s day-to-day operations. You’ll play a key coordination role across inbound freight, delivery monitoring, wholesale, packaging, and supply chain communications – ensuring tasks are executed accurately, timelines are met, and issues are flagged early to support strong decision making across the business.
This is a 12-month contract position commencing September 2026 until August 2027.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate inbound freight administration, tracking shipments and flagging delays
- Conduct packing list checks against purchase orders and identify discrepancies
- Manage the Supply Chain inbox and Jira desk, responding to enquiries and tracking issues
- Support internal communications across shipments, suppliers, and DC coordination
- Process invoices and identify discrepancies for escalation where required
- Monitor delivery performance and support investigations across retail and online orders
- Prepare daily delivery reports and support store delivery visibility
- Manage packaging and consumables ordering, tracking usage and forecasting needs
- Support wholesale order coordination, shipment bookings, and label management
- Collaborate with teams across Retail, Merchandising, Finance, Production, and Customer Care
- Contribute to process improvements and support ad hoc supply chain projects
What we’re looking for:
- Strong communication skills and high attention to detail
- Intermediate Excel skills and confidence with data entry
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- A proactive, can-do attitude with willingness to learn
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable learning new systems, processes, and terminology
- Confidence following processes and standard operating procedures
Highly regarded:
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or a similar environment
- Experience in an administrative or coordination role
- A problem-solving mindset with a continuous improvement approach
- Experience working in a fast-paced or dynamic environment
