We are looking for our next Logistics Assistant team member to join our team at the Carole Park warehouse!
This is a Full time, permanent position.
This is an entry level position.
Shift times: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm
Job tasks and responsibilities:
Do you love being organised, solving puzzles, and keeping things moving? We’re looking for a Logistics Assistant who can help keep our operations running smoothly while bringing energy, initiative, and a great attitude to the team.
Processing, allocating, and invoicing customer orders
- Eager to learning SAP & WMS and support the daily logistics/operations and to work together as a team to assist the line Manager to achieve optimum efficiencies and productivities in running the logistics/operations.
- Coordinating deliveries and working with transport providers to get products where they need to go
- Liaising with our sales team on special deals, offers, and customer requirements
- Running and analysing supply chain reports to help keep everything on track
- Coordinating local deliveries and ensuring smooth day-to-day logistics
- Managing emails and answering phone enquiries with professionalism and a smile
- Communicating confidently with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
- Maintaining filing systems and supporting general office administration
- Assisting the Manager with various tasks and projects as needed
To be successful you will need:
- Full Australian working rights and MUST live in Australia
- Microsoft Office experience (high level of exposure to and competency with Excel is a must)
- A current driver’s license
- Strong communication skills
- A great eye for detail and customer service skills
- Proven experience working in an Administrative Assistant role or supply chain management industry is ideal, but not essential
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
- Confidence working with a variety of people and departments
