About the role
This role exists to help our customers feel confident, supported and informed across their insurance – from motor and home to contents and travel.
You’ll be the friendly voice behind Open, supporting customers via phone, chat and email. Whether you’re helping someone understand their cover, update a policy or resolve an issue, you’ll play a key role in delivering a smooth, human insurance experience. You’ll join a collaborative Customer Success team that genuinely cares about doing the right thing.
What you’ll do
- Be a trusted point of contact for customers across phone, chat and email
- Explain insurance cover and options clearly and confidently
- Support customers to self-serve using Open’s digital tools
- Make accurate policy updates in line with underwriting and compliance
- Take ownership of customer issues and see them through to resolution
- Work closely with your team to improve processes and customer experience
What you’ll bring

No prior insurance or financial services experience is required – we’ll provide training to set you up for success. Experience in these areas is a bonus, not a requirement.

Location & working model
- Sunshine Coast based (hybrid)
- Currently working from Birtinya, moving into a new office in March-April
- Team members attend the office 3 days per week, with Wednesdays as our core team day focused on collaboration, connection – and a shared team lunch!
