About the Role

Join a Team That Makes a Difference. Novis Healthcare is seeking a motivated and hands-on Service and Installation Technician to join our Queensland team. This is a varied role that combines equipment delivery and installation, technical repairs, customer support, and workshop-based servicing. Every day is different as you’ll work with hospitals, aged care facilities, healthcare professionals, and people in their homes to ensure essential healthcare equipment is delivered, installed, maintained, and repaired to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering, installing, and demonstrating healthcare equipment to customers.
  • Performing equipment repairs, servicing, and preventative maintenance both on-site and in the workshop.
  • Diagnosing faults and assessing equipment for repair.
  • Completing off-hire rental inspections, testing, cleaning, and reporting.
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers.
  • Maintaining accurate service records and job reports.
  • Managing customer enquiries and ensuring excellent customer outcomes.
  • Assisting with warehouse operations including stock handling, picking, packing, and dispatch when required.
  • Maintaining a safe work environment and following all WHS procedures.

About You

  • Experience using hand and power tools.
  • Mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • A proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Hold a full, valid driver’s licence with a clean record.
  • Fully vaccinated against Covid and Flu
  • Willing to obtain (or already hold): National Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Checks
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment physical assessment.

Experience within healthcare equipment, mobility products, maintenance, repairs, or a trade-related industry will be highly regarded but is not essential.
