Description

ABOUT NOAHS HAVEN

Noahs Haven was built from lived experience. Our founder couldn’t find the right support for her son, so she created it. That’s the foundation everything here is built on.

We’re a Bendigo-based NDIS provider delivering Specialist Behaviour Support services. We’re growing fast, and we’re building a team of practitioners who genuinely care. People who understand that good PBS is about the person, not the plan.

We don’t do corporate distance. We speak plainly, we support each other, and we hold ourselves to a high standard because the people we work with deserve it.

We are a values driven, clinically focused organisation committed to:

  • Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
  • Human rights and least restrictive practice.
  • Trauma informed care.
  • Real world, implementable strategies.

Our practitioners are supported, respected and empowered to focus on what matters most: Improving the quality of life for participants and reducing behaviours of concern through evidence based practice.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a full time role based out of our Golden Square office in Bendigo. You’ll also be out in the community regularly, working directly with participants and their support networks.

Day to day, you’ll be:

  • Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA)
  • Developing Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans
  • Working collaboratively with families, support workers, support coordinators, and allied health professionals
  • Delivering training and coaching to stakeholders
  • Supporting the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices
  • Monitoring and reviewing behaviour support strategies over time

WHAT WE OFFER

A real base to work from

Office space in Golden Square, Bendigo. You’re not out on your own, there’s a team around you.

Quality supervision

We take supervision seriously. You’ll have regular, quality clinical supervision and case consultation with experienced leadership, not a tick-box meeting once a quarter.

A caseload that works for you

We’re not interested in overloading good practitioners. You’ll build a caseload at a pace that lets you do the work properly. Competitive Rates

Strong earning potential with a rate that reflects your experience and registration level.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for someone who cares about doing this work well. The NDIS registration matters, but so does the kind of practitioner you are.

You’ll need:

  • NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner suitability (Core/Proficient/Advanced)
  • Demonstrated experience in Positive Behaviour Support
  • Strong functional assessment skills and the ability to write practical, implementable plans
  • Solid understanding of NDIS Behaviour Support Rules and Victorian restrictive practice requirements
  • Confidence working both independently and as part of a team

Highly Regarded:

  • Experience with complex behaviours
  • Experience in SIL/Community settings
  • Knowledge of trauma–informed practice
  • Experience with restrictive practice authorisation processes in Victoria

SOUNDS LIKE YOU?

If you’re a PBS practitioner who wants to do meaningful work, be properly supported, and be part of a team that cares about the humans they’re helping, we’d love to hear from you.
