Summary:

We’re on the lookout for a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Disability Support Worker to join our team. In this rewarding role, you’ll provide person-centred support to individuals living with a disability, helping them to maintain independence, participate in the community, and live life on their own terms.

Responsibilities:

Provide respectful and high-quality support with daily living activities including personal care, grooming, and dressing
Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive and inclusive environment
Assist with mobility, transfers, and transport to appointments, community outings or activities
Support meal preparation and light household duties
Follow and contribute to individualised care and support plans
Monitor clients' wellbeing and promptly report any health or behavioural concerns
Work collaboratively with families, health professionals, and other support workers
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in line with organisational and NDIS requirements

What We’re Looking For:

Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or similar (preferred)
Current First Aid and CPR certificates
NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle (if transport is part of the role)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proven ability to build respectful, trusting relationships
Experience supporting people with disability (particularly with personal care or complex needs)
A proactive, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to support
Understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Framework and a commitment to client dignity, choice, and inclusion
