We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team in Melbourne CBD. This permanent, full-time position is crucial for ensuring compliance with tax regulations and optimising the tax strategies for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals and corporations.
• Provide expert advice on tax planning and compliance matters.
• Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to support decision-making.
• Assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and regulations.
• Mentor and train junior staff members in tax-related matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA or CPA is preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax accounting or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
