A rare opportunity to join a leading non-bank lender as an IT Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organisation’s IT systems. Your primary objective will be to provide technical assistance to end-users, resolve issues promptly, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our IT infrastructure. This is a full-time office based role. Graduates are encouraged to apply.
Roles and responsibilities
Technical Support
- Respond to user inquiries, troubleshoot hardware and software problems, and provide timely solutions. This includes assisting with desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
Installation and Configuration
- Install, configure, and maintain software applications, operating systems, and network components.
User Training
- Conduct training sessions for new employees on IT tools, security protocols, and best practices.
Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and user requests via our Service Management process.
Remote Support
- Provide remote assistance to off-site users via phone, email, or remote desktop tools.
Hardware Maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as hardware upgrades, system patches, and backups.
Network Troubleshooting
- Assist with network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi, LAN, and VPN.
Security Compliance
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies, including data protection, access controls, and password management.
Continuous Learning
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in IT
How to succeed
To succeed in this role, you should combine a foundational understanding of IT infrastructure components, maintaining standard operating environment configurations (SOE) and device lifecycle management. Demonstrating effective communication articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders across the business and problem-solving abilities analysing and resolving complex issues using a logical and structured approach.
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related qualification, e.g. CompTIA, etc.
- Basic understanding of Windows and MacOS operating systems and hardware components
- Knowledge of software applications and common enterprise tools
- Networking fundamentals (Wi-Fi, LAN, IP Basics)
- Importance of IT security policies and process
- Willingness to work 5 days in the office
- Must have Full Australian working rights (citizen or PR)
