Please note – Hiring will begin mid January

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead and manage MESHKI’s garment technical function, ensuring consistent fit, construction, and bulk readiness across all categories.
  • Manage our Garment Technician team day to day.
  • Drive reduction of size and quality-related returns through preventative technical controls and data-led insights.
  • Own fit standards, technical documentation, blocks, grading rules, and tech packs across all product ranges.
  • Lead fit sessions and approval to bulk standards, acting as the final authority on fit and construction decisions.
  • Partner closely with Design, Production, Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Customer Experience to translate creative intent into technically feasible outcomes.
  • Train and upskill internal teams and suppliers on MESHKI’s technical standards, fit frameworks, and QA processes.
  • Analyse returns, customer feedback, and defect data to inform continuous improvements upstream in product development.
  • Implement scalable technical workflows, automations, and process improvements to support business growth and speed-to-market.
  • Monitor supplier performance, enforce technical accountability, and lead corrective action plans when standards aren’t met alongside production.
  • Track and report key technical KPIs to senior leadership, ensuring measurable improvements in quality, returns, and operational efficiency.

What you need to bring:

  • Extensive experience in garment technology, fit, grading, and bulk production in a fashion environment.
  • Strong understanding of size standards, construction methods, and QA processes.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence.
  • Analytical mindset with experience translating data and returns insights into actionable technical improvements.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail in fit and construction.
  • Experience managing supplier relationships, with a focus on accountability and quality delivery.
  • Ability to design and implement scalable technical workflows and processes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse teams.
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality garments that align with brand standards and customer expectations.
