Description

Master Builders Members Legal is a law firm that provides specialist construction law advice to Master Builders’ members.  Supporting our team of lawyers, you will not only have the opportunity to utilise your prior experience and passion for admin, but gain unique exposure to the workings of an industry association.

Pending commencement, this position is being offered as a fixed-term opportunity to cover a period of maternity leave for approximately 10 months.

What you’ll do:

As the first point of contact, you will respond to telephone and email enquiries from Master Builders members and internal stakeholders. You will play a key role in providing administrative support to the legal team, with your day-to-day responsibilities including:

  • Respond to incoming calls and email enquiries
  • Monitor CRM enquiries and open matters in the legal system
  • Create and manage matter files, including conflict checks
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and calendars
  • Support team meetings, including scheduling and agendas
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing, scanning, and inbox management

What you need:

  • Prior experience in an administrative support role (even better if it has been within a law firm, but this is not essential)
  • Confidence in using the full suite of Microsoft Office products
  • Experience using a CRM
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong customer service skills and a genuine desire to support others
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • An ability to appropriately manage your and juggle competing priorities
