Summary:
The Medicare Mental Health Kids Hub is an early intervention service designed to support children aged 0–12 years and their families and caregivers. Through a dedicated multidisciplinary team, the Hub will deliver a broad range of evidence-informed supports, including therapeutic interventions, group programs, parenting support, peer and family support, cognitive assessments, and outreach services, tailored to meet the needs of children and families.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee service delivery on a daily basis according to the requirments of the contract and program guidelines.
- Ensure the program meets the outcomes and KPIs identified in the contract.
- Manage budgeting requirements for the program including submitting purchase orders and invoices for acquittal.
- Complete progress and performance reports on time (as per contract) and participate in regular status meetings.
- Conduct annual planning day.
- Attend contract meetings.
- Manage feedback and complaints.
- Facilitate engagement in program evaluation activities.
- Review and analyse program data to inform quality improvement.
- Develop service plans in line with contract requirements.
- Stakeholder engagement.
- Opportunity to maintain a small clinicial caseload.
Qualifications:
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing or Occupational Therapy and full registration as a Psychologist through AHPRA, Mental Health Accredited Social Worker, Mental Health Nurse or Mental Health Occupational Therapist.
- Demonstrated experience delivering therapy to adults, youth and children with mental health concerns.
- Commitment to and proficiency delivering evidence-based practice.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to supervise, develop and manage a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable
At least 3 years of management experience within a clinical team.
