We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Service Coordinator to join our team. This role is central to ensuring the smooth coordination of service activities, supporting our customers, technicians, and internal stakeholders while delivering an outstanding customer experience. As the first point of contact for many customers, you will play a critical role in maintaining our reputation for professionalism, responsiveness, and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Coordination

  • Deliver professional, friendly, and responsive customer service across phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Manage customer enquiries and provide accurate information regarding products, services, appointments, and service schedules.
  • Coordinate and schedule service appointments to maximise technician utilisation while meeting customer requirements.
  • Identify and resolve customer issues promptly, escalating matters where required.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to enhance the customer experience.

Administration & Service Support

  • Process service appointments through to invoicing in accordance with company procedures.
  • Match completed appointments with customer purchase orders and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, service histories, scheduling information, and related documentation within company systems.
  • Identify and correct data discrepancies to maintain information integrity.
  • Prepare reports and administrative documentation as required.

Continuous Improvement & Team Collaboration

  • Support business improvement initiatives, customer engagement activities, technology enhancements, and reporting projects.
  • Contribute ideas to improve service delivery processes and operational efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across all departments to achieve team and organisational objectives.
  • Participate in workplace health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives and comply with all company policies and procedures.

Experience & Qualifications

Essential

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer service, service coordination, scheduling, or administration.
  • Experience managing appointments, bookings, or service delivery activities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Desirable

  • Experience within scientific, laboratory, environmental, healthcare, technical services, or regulated industries.
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or service management systems.
  • Knowledge of NATA accreditation requirements and quality management systems.

Employment Requirements

  • Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or holder of a valid Australian work visa.
  • Ability to successfully complete a National Police Check.
  • Employment will be in accordance with the applicable Modern Award and LAF Technologies’ employment policies.
