We are currently seeking a sessional assistant with experience working with young people to support the Facilitator for our program, delivered in local Shoalhaven high schools. This program, funded by the Department of Education, provides students with learning opportunities aimed at improving overall school attendance and engagement.
The primary function of this role is to support the delivery of our program to small groups of students from a selection of high schools in the Shoalhaven. The program includes personal development, cultural awareness, employability development, outdoor recreation (guides provided by KCC Ltd.) and individualised care coordination support to achieve program outcomes.
The role is physically demanding and may include supporting students to participate in activities such as rock climbing, kayaking and bushwalking.
