At JewishCare NSW, we provide high-quality, person-centred aged care services that strengthen the independence and wellbeing of older people in our community. We’re looking for compassionate, experienced Registered Nurses to join our Aged Care and services on a temporary/3 days a week basis.

This role is ideal for nurses who are seeking a flexible work arrangement and who have experience working as a community nurse.

About the role

As a Registered Nurse, in the community, you will:

  • Undertake comprehensive assessments and develop person-centred nursing care plans for ‘Support at Home’ clients.
  • Provide clinical oversight and ensure safe, evidence-based care within a multidisciplinary framework.
  • Provide clinical care including wound care, clinical assessments and injections administration.
  • Collaborate with Case Managers, allied health professionals, families, and GPs to deliver holistic and coordinated support.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, clinical governance, and quality care delivery in line with the Aged Care Quality & Safety Standards.
  • Provide clinical guidance to care partners.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 2 years’ nursing experience in the community (community strongly preferred)
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • Current Driver’s Licence and ability to travel across client homes in the Eastern and Northern suburbs
  • Strong clinical assessment, care planning, and communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care

(Desirable: Senior First Aid and understanding of Jewish values and community culture.)
