About the Role

This is a key leadership role ensuring that consistent, high quality and person-centred disability services are delivered to clients under the NDIS. Leading a team of dedicated Aged Care Support Workers this role will:

  • Provide operational leadership, guidance and mentoring to a distributed team of Disability Support Workers.
  • Drive service quality, staff development, and best practice, fostering a culture of excellence, professionalism and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure delivery of services is compliant with NDIS Practice standards and organisational policies, as well as maintaining a strong focus on safe, effective, and participant-led support.
  • Works collaboratively with participants, their supporters, allied health partners, the Quality & Clinical Practice Team, and clinically qualified staff whenever advanced clinical assessment, specialised input, or complex care planning is required ensuring coordinated, responsive, and integrated service delivery across all support needs.
  • Ensure delivery of services is compliant with quality standards and organisational policies.

You will:

  • Lead, coach, and support a distributed workforce of Disability Support Workers
  • Provide regular supervision, performance feedback and professional guidance
  • Conduct competency assessments and support ongoing skill development
  • Embed best-practice care, compliance and organisational quality standards
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and workforce capability building
  • Monitor service quality, address issues and drive continuous improvement
  • Work closely with clinical staff to support clients with complex needs
  • Ensure accurate documentation, incident reporting and NDIS compliance
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, families, staff and stakeholders

 What We’re Looking For

We are seeking:

  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating or supervising a team in the disability, community, or health sector.
  • Strong understanding of best practice in disability service delivery under the NDIS.
  • Proven skills in training, workforce development, and staff support.
  • Experience conducting competency assessments and performance evaluations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to support teams through change.
  • Knowledge of relevant NDIS Practice Standards, compliance requirements, and legislation.
  • Strong problem solving, organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in client management and workforce systems

Essential

  • Diploma-level qualification in Community Services, Disability, Case Management or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in care coordination, case management or support coordination roles within disability services or a related field.
  • Sound understanding of the NDIS program, including reasonable and necessary supports, participant rights and provider obligations.
  • Strong knowledge of the NDIS practice standards and Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements.
  • Ability to develop, monitor and review person-centred plans.
  • Skilled in using client management systems and Microsoft Office.

  • Working With Children Check
  • Current NSW Driver License
