About the role

This role is much more than just driving trucks. You’ll be operating vacuum pumping equipment to remove and transport liquid waste from septic tanks, grease traps, pits, treatment systems, and other waste facilities across residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

Day-to-day work includes:

• Driving and operating vacuum trucks
• Pumping out and cleaning liquid waste systems
• Operating pumps, hoses, and vacuum equipment
• Completing job reports on a mobile device
• Following OH&S procedures
• Keeping your truck clean, tidy, and organised

The work is hands-on and physical, involving sludge, waste, dirty environments, lifting, and manual labour.

• Takes pride in their truck and presentation

Fair warning — this can be dirty and smelly work at times. If you don’t have a strong stomach, this probably isn’t the role for you.
