About the Role

The People & Wellbeing Advisor is a key operational role within Ironbark’s People & Wellbeing team, providing practical, solutions-focused support across the full employee lifecycle.

Reporting to the People & Wellbeing Manager, the role serves as the primary point of contact for managers and employees on day-to-day people matters, operating with autonomy while working within established policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.

Working closely with leaders across the organisation, the position plays a critical role in ensuring workforce practices are consistent, compliant, culturally safe, and aligned with Ironbark’s values. From recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations, performance management, workforce compliance, and employee wellbeing, the role helps create positive workplace experiences that enable our people and teams to succeed.

The role also contributes to organisational decision-making through the collection, analysis, and reporting of workforce information. By maintaining accurate workforce records and HR systems, monitoring employee lifecycle trends, and preparing workforce reports and insights, the People & Wellbeing Advisor supports leaders to make informed decisions and strengthen workforce outcomes across the organisation.

As part of Ironbark’s commitment to continuous improvement, the position actively contributes to the development and enhancement of people systems, processes, and initiatives. The role identifies emerging workforce issues and trends, recommends practical improvements, and supports projects that enhance the effectiveness, consistency, and quality of People & Wellbeing services.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and making a meaningful contribution to workplace culture, employee wellbeing, and organisational success.
