We pride ourselves on our high standard of work, positive and professional culture, and a great work environment. Our business has experienced significant growth over recent years, and with a strong pipeline of projects ahead, we are looking for a Senior HSE Advisor to join our team in Perth.

About the Role

Reporting to the Regional/Project Manager, this hands-on role provides practical health, safety, environmental and quality (HSEQ) leadership across multiple construction and refurbishment projects throughout Western Australia, as well as corporate-level HSE support. You will partner with project managers and site supervisors to embed a risk-based approach to safety, ensure legislative and client compliance, and drive continual improvement of our Integrated Management System (IMS).

You’ll work across a genuinely diverse project portfolio, including works delivered for CBH, mining clients and Australian Border Force, giving you exposure to remote, industrial and government project environments few roles can offer.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing practical, on-the-ground HSE support across construction and refurbishment projects throughout WA.
  • Leading incident, hazard and near-miss investigations using ICAM (or equivalent) methodologies and driving corrective actions through to completion.
  • Conducting site inspections, internal audits, compliance reviews and field leadership interactions.
  • Supporting project teams with risk assessments, management plans, SWMS and JHAs.
  • Maintaining and continually improving our IMS and supporting ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification and surveillance audits.
  • Coaching supervisors and project managers to build strong, positive safety leadership.
  • Monitoring contractor onboarding and compliance with project HSE requirements.
  • Supporting tenders and prequalification’s, monthly HSE reporting, safety campaigns, and injury management alongside the Regional/Project Manager.

About You

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety (mandatory).
  • ICAM Lead Investigator qualification or equivalent (mandatory).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior HSE advisory role within the construction industry.
  • Experience supporting mining or industrial projects and principal contractor environments.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining ISO-certified management systems and conducting internal audits.
  • Strong knowledge of WA Work Health and Safety legislation and high-risk construction activities.
  • •Current Construction White Card and C Class driver’s licence.
  • Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work independently across multiple project locations.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Internal Auditor qualification, or experience on government/defence-related projects will be highly regarded.

What We Offer

  • Full-time, Perth-based position with an immediate start available.
  • Excellent salary package.
  • Genuine variety, remote, industrial and government projects across WA.
  • An exceptional work culture, supportive team environment and a leadership team with a progressive, values-driven approach to flexible working.
