Export Documentation & Logistics Manager – Brisbane QLD

About the Role
This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end
export documentation and logistics function to ensure the efficient, compliant
and timely movement of products to global markets. This role oversees export
processes across multiple international destinations, manages a specialist
team, and drives continuous improvement in service delivery, compliance and
supply chain performance.
The role requires strong expertise in red meat export operations, global
market requirements, shipping logistics, and people leadership and will suit someone
who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and takes pride in
accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee accurate, compliant export documentation across global markets
- Manage end-to-end export logistics, schedules, and delivery timelines
- Coordinate with stakeholders to meet shipment deadlines and resolve risks
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing export logistics team
- Drive process improvements, compliance standards, and supply chain efficiency
About You
You are a highly organised and proactive
professional with experience in export documentation or logistics and strong
leadership capability. You confidently lead and support team members, foster
accountability, and drive performance. With a solid understanding of compliance
requirements, you take a meticulous approach to your work, communicate
effectively with stakeholders, and thrive in fast-paced environments while
managing competing deadlines.
You Will Bring
- Extensive experience in export documentation, shipment timing, and global markets, ideally within the red meat industry
- Strong expertise in negotiating, booking, and scheduling with shipping lines to ensure efficient and cost-effective freight movements
- Solid understanding of international freight, cold chain logistics, and regulatory compliance
requirements
- Sound knowledge of INCO terms, with proven ability to execute invoicing accurately in line with agreed trade terms
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, with high attention to detail and strong communication skills
