Our Member Support team guides members through the entire membership lifecycle, from joining GS1 and managing their membership to understanding how to allocate and assign GS1 numbers to their products. This frontline team works directly with our members to resolve their day-to-day queries and connect them with the right training, tools, and services, ensuring they feel valued and supported at every stage. This is a hybrid role, with three days in the office and two days working remotely. The position is based on a 35-hour working week, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a one-hour lunch break.
Examples of your day-to-day activities:
- Providing responsive support to new and existing members via phone, email, and live chat across a wide range of GS1 membership matters.
- Delivering clear, accurate guidance to help members understand and use the GS1 numbering system effectively.
- Processing and support applications for additional numbering requirements, including GTINs, smaller barcode numbers, and GLNs.
- Assisting members through the membership termination process with professionalism, clarity, and care.
- Maintaining high-quality member data in D365 CRM through accurate record management and ongoing data cleansing.

- Strong computer skills and experience with CRM tools or databases.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when maintaining records and working across multiple systems.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to investigating and resolving member enquiries.
- The ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and information.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Applicants with prior experience working in a member-based organisation will be highly regarded.
