We are seeking motivated and reliable Trade Assistants to join our growing team at our CAIRNS location.
Responsibilities:
- Assist tradespeople with various tasks such as maintenance, repairs, and installations
- Follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance with PPE requirements in an industrial environment
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals
- Utilize hand and power tools under the supervision of experienced professionals
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Adhere to project schedules and meet deadlines
- Attend training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
Skills:
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work 40+ hours per week
- Knowledge of safety protocols and PPE usage in an industrial setting
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a team environment
- Previous experience using hand tools or power tools preferred but not required
- Possess an OHS Construction Induction (White Card)
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- Availability for an IMMEDIATE START
- Own reliable transport and valid driver’s license (essential)
- White card (essential)
- Must be able to obtain and hold a valid National Police Clearance for a Defence Common Access Card (DCAC)
