Which means we’re looking for a Finance Manager who can bring clarity, calm, curiosity, and commercial smarts to our numbers — all while enjoying a genuine four-day working week.

🚀 About the Role
You’ll lead our finance function end-to-end — combining technical accounting expertise with practical commercial thinking. Your day will include:
- Leading month-end and year-end reporting, reconciliations, and financial governance
- Overseeing payroll governance and compliance
- Managing cashflow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Guiding AP/AR processes and maintaining strong internal controls
- Managing our MYOB Acumatica relationship — updates, enhancements, troubleshooting, uploads, integrations, and overall system optimisation
- Supporting BAS, audits, regulatory lodgements, and tax prep
- Providing clear financial insights and modelling for the CEO and Directors
- Coaching and supporting your direct report to build confidence and capability
- Identifying risks, opportunities, and ways to improve how we work
🙌 What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone who blends financial expertise with a practical, people-first approach. You’ll bring:
- CPA or CA qualified (or close to completion)
- Strong finance or accounting experience, ideally within insurance, broking, underwriting or financial services
- MYOB Acumatica experience (or similar system experience with a fast learning curve)
- Advanced Excel skills
- High attention to detail and strong financial literacy
- Commercial acumen and confidence explaining financial insights
- A collaborative, calm communication style
- Leadership potential and experience supporting others
