Global X Sydney is looking for a Senior Oversight Analyst to join our Investment Operations team, playing a pivotal role in ensuring operational integrity across our ETF platform.
You will be responsible for the oversight of key service providers across Custody, Registry, Fund Administration, Middle Office and ETF servicing, acting as a first line of defence for operational risk and vendor management.
This is an integral role where you will work across multiple stakeholders to ensure strong operational controls, effective risk management and continuous improvement of processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee external service providers, including Custody, Registry, Fund Administration and ETF servicing vendors, ensuring delivery against service level agreements and regulatory requirements
• Act as the primary point of contact for operational queries, supporting issue resolution and driving continuous improvement across the ETF operating model
• Identify, assess and manage operational risks, working closely with Risk and Compliance to maintain robust controls and effective exception management
• Manage risk incidents end-to-end, including assessment, root cause analysis and remediation
• Oversee the preparation and review of operational, risk and performance reporting for internal and external stakeholders
• Build strong relationships across internal teams (Product, Portfolio Management, Finance, Technology, Risk and Compliance) and external partners
• Drive process improvements and identify automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Support strategic initiatives, including the operational readiness and launch of new ETF products
About You
• 6+ years’ experience in investment operations, custody, fund administration or middle office oversight (ETF experience highly regarded)
• Strong understanding of operational risk management and outsourced vendor operating models
• Experience with order management, portfolio management and accounting systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across a complex operating environment
