Why join us?

Global X is a member of Mirae Asset Financial Group, a global leader in financial services, with more than A$1,300 billion in assets under management worldwide. The role

It also contributes to investment communication through market insights, commentary and presentation materials, while working closely with Product, Distribution and Marketing to support internal collaboration, ETF education and consistent investment messaging.

This is a research and insight-focused role and does not include portfolio management responsibility.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor market developments and synthesise implications for portfolios, asset classes and ETF exposures
  • Prepare market insights, written commentary, client presentations, briefing materials and internal investment updates.
  • Ensure investment messaging is clear, consistent and aligned with house views.
  • Serve as an internal point of reference on markets, ETF exposures and investment positioning.
  • Contribute to broader investment communication and external engagement over time, including support for client and media activity.

About you

  • 5+ years’ experience in financial markets, investment research, trading or strategy-related roles.
  • A strong interest in macroeconomics, investment markets and asset allocation.
  • The ability to translate market developments into practical investment implications.
  • Familiarity with ETF structures, index construction and product mechanics
  • Proficiency in charts, dashboards and client-ready materials
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex topics into clear insights.
  • A structured, analytical approach and the ability to work independently.
  • A collaborative mindset, commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence presenting in public forums or supporting senior presenters.
  • Experience in fixed income or FX will be highly regarded.
