We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking People & Culture Manager to lead and evolve our HR function. This is a key leadership role responsible for shaping our people strategy, strengthening company culture, and supporting our continued growth.

About the Role

Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for the overall HR function of Glascott. Your key responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead workforce planning in partnership with operational leaders to ensure labour demand aligns with project pipelines, seasonal workloads, and growth forecasts
  • Provide expert advice and coaching to managers on employee relations matters such as performance management, disciplinary processes, grievances, and conflict resolution
  • Design and execute end-to-end recruitment strategies, including employer branding, talent pipelines, and onboarding programs tailored to field and corporate roles
  • Develop and embed performance frameworks, including goal setting (OKRs/KPIs), regular check-ins, and annual review cycles that drive accountability and development
  • Lead learning and development initiatives, including leadership capability programs, trade skill development, and compliance training (e.g., safety, certifications)
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and governance frameworks that support consistency and compliance across multiple sites
  • Drive initiatives in wellbeing, diversity & inclusion, and employee engagement

About You

  • Proven experience in a People & Culture or HR leadership role, ideally within construction, landscaping, or a related industry
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build strong relationships across all levels
  • Passion for culture, people development, and organisational growth
