As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for a motivated Warehouse & Logistics Operator to become an important part of our operations team.
About the Role
Working on our afternoon shift, you’ll play a key role in ensuring products are safely prepared, loaded and dispatched to customers across Victoria.
This is a varied, hands-on position that combines warehouse operations, forklift work, dispatch activities and yard management while also providing exposure to transport and logistics coordination.
No two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading company and contractor vehicles
- Preparing and staging customer orders for dispatch
- Moving trucks and vehicles safely within the yard
- Completing forklift and equipment safety inspections
- Performing manual handling of steel and building products
- Supporting warehouse, dispatch and transport operations
- Processing inventory and dispatch transactions
- Assisting with transport scheduling and logistics administration
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workplace
- Following Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements and all safety procedures
What You’ll Bring
Essential
- Current Forklift Licence
- Current MR Truck Licence (MR minimum or HR preferred with manual licence)
- Experience loading and unloading trucks
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling
- Basic computer skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Highly Regarded
- Experience within warehouse, manufacturing or transport industries
- Experience handling steel or building materials
- Understanding of warehouse and dispatch systems
- Exposure to transport scheduling
- Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility legislation
