Workforce Growth & Engagement Strategist
Family Day Care Queensland (FDCQ)
Murarrie | Fixed Term Full Time(12 Months) | $45 per hour
Help us grow Queensland’s next generation of educators.
Every educator we welcome into our service creates opportunities for children and families to thrive.
At Family Day Care Queensland, we’re looking for someone who loves connecting with people, building relationships and creating opportunities. This isn’t your typical recruitment role – it’s about growing a community, inspiring future educators and helping shape the future of early childhood education across Queensland.
If you’re someone who enjoys meeting new people, thinking creatively and turning conversations into meaningful partnerships, we’d love to hear from you.
The Opportunity
This newly created role has one clear purpose:
Find amazing people and inspire them to become part of the Enhance community.
You’ll spend your time connecting with prospective educators, attending networking events, building partnerships with training providers and community organisations, promoting career opportunities and creating recruitment campaigns that genuinely engage people.
You’ll also work closely with our team to ensure educators feel supported from their very first enquiry through to becoming successful long-term members of our community.
What you’ll be doing
- Growing a pipeline of future Family Day Care and In Home Care educators.
- Creating engaging recruitment and marketing campaigns.
- Building partnerships with TAFEs, universities and community organisations.
- Supporting prospective educators throughout their journey.
- Developing initiatives that improve educator attraction, engagement and retention.
- Analysing workforce trends to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Working collaboratively across the organisation to strengthen our workforce strategy.
About You
You genuinely enjoy connecting with people.
You’re naturally curious, approachable and confident starting conversations with people you’ve never met.
You know how to build trust, identify opportunities and create lasting relationships.
Most importantly, you’re motivated by making a difference rather than simply filling vacancies.
You’ll also bring:
- Experience in recruitment, business development, marketing, workforce planning, community engagement or a similar role
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence presenting to groups and representing an organisation externally.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Creative mindset and willingness to try new ideas.
- A passion for improving outcomes for children and families.
Experience within early childhood education is highly regarded but not essential.
Why join us?
This role offers the rare opportunity to build something on existing frameworks and show some tangible results.
You’ll have the freedom to think differently, trial new ideas and genuinely influence how we attract and retain educators across Queensland.
You’ll enjoy:
- Flexible work arrangements
- A supportive and collaborative team.
- Opportunities to innovate and shape organisational strategy
- Professional development.
- A role where your work has a direct impact on children, families and communities.
Ready to make an impact?
If you’re excited by the opportunity to connect with people, build meaningful relationships and help shape the future workforce of early childhood education, we’d love to hear from you.
