Role Purpose

The Client Solutions Architect role combines solution architecture, technical pre-sales and strategic client engagement to win new business, ensure successful delivery outcomes and identify future opportunities within existing clients. Acting as a trusted technical advisor, the role partners with Sales throughout the opportunity lifecycle while remaining engaged with strategic customer outcomes.

As our Client Solutions Architect, you will:

  • Partner with Sales and Account Managers to qualify, shape and progress opportunities.
  • Lead customer discovery workshops and translate business requirements into practical solution designs.
  • Design scalable, supportable and commercially viable managed services, cloud, infrastructure, networking and cyber security solutions.
  • Prepare high-quality proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), solution diagrams, estimates and tender/RFP responses.
  • Present technical recommendations to customers and executive stakeholders.
  • Coordinate smooth technical handovers into Delivery teams.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure solutions align with operational standards.
  • Facilitate Monthly Service Reviews (MSRs) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) where required.
  • Develop client technology roadmaps and proactively identify strategic improvement opportunities.
  • Build trusted long-term relationships as a technical advisor.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, consulting or senior engineering within an MSP or systems integrator.
  • Excellent proposal, SOW and technical documentation skills.
  • Strong presentation, workshop facilitation and executive stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Broad experience across Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, infrastructure, virtualisation and cyber security.
  • Understanding of Microsoft licensing and Managed Services operating models.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer outcomes and delivery practicality.
  • Excellent written, verbal and relationship management skills.
