Summary:
Evinact is seeking a highly analytical and driven Data & Business Analyst to join our team as a Senior Consultant in the Brisbane CBD. In this role, you will help our clients bridge the gap between IT and business by translating complex datasets into actionable insights and strategic recommendations. Your focus will be to design reports, streamline business processes, and drive data-driven decision-making in client delivery.

You will:
- Analyse business processes, gather requirements, and map workflows to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their data needs and present analytical findings.
- Extract, clean, and process complex data sets to build insightful reports and dashboards.
- Map out data structures, relationships, and schemas into a data models
- Build data visualisations to communicate trends, forecasts, and performance metrics.
Skills & Experience:
The following experience and qualifications would be desirable and viewed favourably:
- 3+ years proven experience in Business Analysis, Data Analytics, or a closely related role
- A tertiary-level qualification in a related field or any relevant accreditations
- Worked in an advisory role for a professional services firm
- Demonstrate the capability to think, speak and write logically
- Demonstrated high-level skills in the required data management disciplines
- Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data
- Strong proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, DAX)
- Proficiency in quantitative methods, mathematical models, algorithms and the ability to work with large datasets.
- Experience with coding and automation scripts (e.g., SQL, Python, VBA, HTML, JS) and
- AI-tool fluency (Claude Code, agentic workflows)
