The Role

We’re looking for a Portfolio Implementation Specialist to join Evidentia Group to support the efficient implementation of investment portfolios across our partner platforms.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in financial markets, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality operational outcomes. You will work closely with Portfolio Managers, Investment Analysts, Consultants, Technology, and external platform providers to ensure portfolio changes are executed accurately, efficiently, and on time while supporting the continued enhancement of our implementation processes.

Responsibilities

  • Execute portfolio changes across partner platforms, ensuring trades are submitted accurately and within required timeframes
  • Monitor and resolve trade issues by working closely with platform providers to ensure successful trade execution
  • Complete post-trade validation and reconciliation activities to ensure implementation accuracy
  • Assist with funds under management (FUM) reporting requirements
  • Maintain rebate records, perform reconciliations, and communicate with relevant stakeholders
  • Partner with the Technology team to enhance Evidentia’s trading system functionality and improve implementation processes
  • Maintain and update implementation process documentation to reflect new platforms, workflows, and system enhancements
  • Collaborate with Associates, Consultants, and Portfolio Managers to ensure investment selections are available across relevant investment platforms
  • Develop strong working relationships with platform providers and maintain an in-depth understanding of their implementation processes and systems
  • Support the onboarding of new tailored portfolios and retail portfolios onto investment platforms
  • Produce monthly and quarterly asset allocation reports for data providers
  • Work closely with Investment Analysts to deliver regular reporting to platform providers

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Experience in financial services, funds management, wealth management, or a related industry (approximately 12 months or more preferred)
  • Demonstrated understanding of investment markets, asset classes, and investment vehicles
  • Understanding of asset management and managed account operations
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyse and communicate financial information accurately
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, as well as Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Demonstrated interest in financial markets and investments

Highly Regarded

  • Experience working with investment platforms or portfolio implementation processes
  • Experience in funds management, wealth management, managed accounts, or financial advice
  • Experience with trade execution, reconciliations, or investment operations
  • Familiarity with portfolio onboarding and implementation workflows
  • Experience working with investment reporting and asset allocation data
