Cricket NSW (CNSW) is focused on leading and growing the game throughout the state. We oversee all cricket from elite professional teams to community, school, and social cricket programs. As a purpose and people led organisation, CNSW aims to inspire everyone to play and love cricket.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Event Manager – Sydney Thunder, in this role you will:

  • Lead the planning and execution of assigned Sydney Thunder events, activations and fan experiences
  • Support the delivery of Sydney Thunder WBBL and BBL home matches
  • Lead the creation and delivery of the Thunder events calendar, including match days, fan engagement initiatives and member experiences
  • Coordinate event logistics including venues, suppliers, contractors, permits, staffing and equipment requirements
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Commerial, Community Cricket, Communications and High Performance
  • Manage relationships with venues, councils, suppliers, agencies and community partners

 

ABOUT YOU

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Previous experience in event management, operations, sport, entertainment or related industries
  • Strong project management, organisational and attention to detail skills
  • Exceptional stakeholder and relationship building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work match days, evenings, weekends and public holidays
