Description

Crawfords Freightlines are looking for a HR Coordinator to join our team at our Sandgate depot for an immediate start. Great next step for a HR Administrator looking to expand their generalist knowledge and gain exposure to the Transport industry.

Our Company:

Crawfords is a privately owned and locally operated transportation and logistics company. Our operations are in road, rail, port logistics and warehousing. We operate multiple depots in New South Wales and Central Queensland.

About the role:

As a HR Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting the HR Manager in delivering the full range of human resources services. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Providing administrative support through the full life cycle of an employee,
  • Coordinating the return to work for injured employees,
  • Creating and reviewing HR Policies, Training and Position Descriptions,
  • Maintaining Employment Hero HRIS system,
  • Responding to HR Enquiries and assisting a variety of departments with HR matters,
  • Supporting the Payroll Function through checking and responding to enquiries, and
  • Other administrative tasks as required.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma qualification or higher in Administration, Business or Human Resources,
  • Highly proficient computer skills including strong systems knowledge (Word, Outlook, Excel),
  • 2 years experience in a Human Resources role preferred,
  • Strong attention to detail and professional demeanor, and
  • A great working attitude being both reliable and flexible.
