The role
We are currently seeking an experienced PR professional to join our passionate and dedicated Communications Team.
Each of our Communications & Influencer Managers have your own dedicated portfolio but of course you are there to support each other as needed. You also have support from our Communications Assistants and will have the opportunity to guide and train them, along with our interns.
You will have multiple brands in your portfolio and must be able to prioritise and shift your focus from moment to moment. This is a fast paced and demanding role where you will be collaborating with our local, regional and global marketing teams as we launch and promote our brands. For example you may be involved in designing and managing events from concept to completion, assisting with launching new products throughout the brand range, and preparing for a significant milestone (e.g. Christmas), all at the same time.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and managing integrated communication plans that include online and offline channels.
- Preparing strategy, objectives and plans along with designing and managing budgets.
- Initiating new ideas to help with increasing PR coverage.
- Press liaison including events, releases, responding to journalists and reporting on all press activity.
- Event preparation and management around Australia.
- Developing and managing relationships locally and globally with all stakeholders and press contacts.
- Overseeing, guiding and training our Communications Assistants and Interns.
- Alongside our external agencies – you may also directly be involved in sourcing KOL’s, managing the partnerships, negotiating agreements and overseeing content.
You are:
- Experienced within agency or inhouse Public Relations (ideally 3+ years)
- Creative, committed, passionate and a true team player
- Have built and managed partnerships with influencers
- Ideally you will have worked in Beauty, Fragrance, FMCG or a related field
- You will have a degree in Business or a related discipline with majors in Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising or similar, or you will have the equivalent work experience
