We exist to be a strategic extension of sea-to-land business for our shipping lines clients – who rely on us to do all the heavy lifting, so they can focus on what they do best. We are seeking an exceptional Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Bluff, Invercargill.
The Opportunity
ContainerCo has and opportunity to service our client’s refrigeration containers in Bluff, Invercargill. This is a new position, where you will be working largely independently in Bluff, but as part of the wider National ContainerCool team. You will need to have a flexible approach to your work to accommodate the hours of work associated with the business. We are looking for people who have high levels of integrity, excellent communication that can be adaptable to deliver for our customers.
What you’ll Bring
- Minimum 3 years’ experience diagnosing, checking and repairing and refrigeration/air conditioning components
- Electrical Licence or Limited Electrical Licence
- Refrigeration and Air Conditioning – Trade (Level 4) preferred, but not required
- The ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- The ability to work as part of a team or autonomously.

- Full-time, permanent position – Minimum 40 hours per week. Monday – Friday, plus rostered call out work as required
- Pay rate: $32.00 to $40.00 per hour dependent on skills and experience
- Inspect, diagnose and repair containers and ancillary equipment
- Provide paperwork for the pre-trip and repair of refrigerated and ventilated containers.
